Search Engineer Job Description

Search engineers can also be called SEO specialists. They have a main goal, which is to assess the websites of organizations to make changes for optimized search engine results. They set up strategies to increase search engine rankings on platforms like Bing, Google and Yahoo. Search engineers have knowledge of keyword related searches, as well as how to write specific SEO copy. They grow the web traffic for organizations by using specific phrases or keywords, rewriting HTML title tags, testing website layouts, fixing structural issues, and increasing backlinks or finding valuable inbound links. Search engineers identify an organization's plans to understand who their target audience to improve both web traffic sales and marketing. They're also aware of the newest SEO standards in order to understand what measures for SERP or search engine results page the platforms like Google and Bing are currently using.

Living and Working in Washington

Washington, D.C. is a cosmopolitan capital city. It has a growing technology sector and plenty of venture capital firms for entrepreneurs to start their businesses. National trade unions, lobbying groups and professional associations are abound in Washington. Its economy also gets a boost from tourism.

The nation's capital features events and festivals throughout the year. Washington offers public transportation and plenty of sites to see. Besides the White House, there are historic landmarks like the National Mall, the Vietnam Memorial and the National Air and Space Museum.
