Salaries in San Diego

San Diego's tech scene, as evidenced by the approximately $1.3 billion invested in San Diego area companies (according to an annual report complied by the National Venture Capital Association) in 2016, is becoming attractive to companies and candidates alike. With the area being dominated by biotech companies it's no wonder 52 percent of local investment dollars went to this industry 2015. But that's not to say other companies haven't seen the appeal, both QualComm and GoPro have offices in San Diego area.¹
