Search Engine Evaluator Job Descripton

Search engine evaluators manually analyze the results that are returned by an assigned search engine with the aim of providing more helpful results to users. An evaluator needs to be able to examine the relevancy of returned results based on overall reputation, field expertise and information accuracy. Sometimes activities like watching YouTube videos, listening to songs or downloading files, movies and apps to assess their relevance will also be required. Results are commonly reported through a software interface. Typically a candidate will either need to be in college or already have a Bachelor‰Ûªs or Master‰Ûªs degree.

Chicago has many neighborhoods to choose from like Hyde Park which offers a lot of student housing for the University of Chicago that also have great lake views or Logan Square which is a great neighborhood for young professionals. It boasts a lot of independent coffee shops, thrift shops and other trendy stores and the apartments are typically vintage-courtyard with exposed brick. While winters in Chicago can be cold the months of May through September have average temperatures with rain common in the fall.
