Solutions Engineers interface directly with customers in order to attain customers' requirements quickly and cost-effectively. Duties of most solutions engineers include interacting with clients, collecting client data, reviewing logs, following up on problems, identifying recurring problems, creating and implementing solutions and overseeing the issue resolution. Skillsets that candidates should possess include technical abilities, problem solving, customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills and computer proficiency. Communication skills with both the client and the programming teams are essential. Candidates should hold a bachelor‰Ûªs degree in an engineering field.
