The position of the Frontend Engineer is responsible for making websites functional and friendly for users. The Frontend Engineer creates user-friendly websites using rich and exciting features like games, animations, text boxes, forums and navigation. They frequently collaborate the Backend Engineers who process the data. A Frontend Engineer must analyze website and audience needs and develop design specifications accordingly.

Frontend Engineers create pages, develop templates and applications using CSS, HTML and JavaScript. They also design attractive interactions for web users and should be able to think like the end-user to gain this perspective in their designs. The Frontend Engineer is typically part of a larger team which also includes other types of programmers and technical staff. Frontend Engineers should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
