Full Stack Engineer Job Description

A Full Stack Engineer is a position requires general knowledge of all the different layers of software development. Full Stack Engineers must also have functional knowledge of front-end and back-end software development in order to that turn it into a finished project. A Full Stack Engineer is also expected to have strong knowledge of front-end scripting languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript and know how to code in PHP, SQL or Ruby on Rails.

Full Stack Engineer candidates must be able to implement security and data protection for both desktop and mobile use. They should also be comfortable collaborating with other company staff. They may regularly work with other members of the engineering team to design and launch new features. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field is usually required.
