Solutions architects are responsible for all system solutions within an organization. They use their in-depth knowledge of various computing platforms and create adaptable, comprehensive suites that meet the technical requirements of the business. They work closely with development teams and functional analysts to convert the organizational needs into architecture that provides the framework for creating complete system solutions.
Solutions architects work with both clients and organizations, making them an integral part of any IT department. After developing systems solutions, they conduct research on additional components to ensure proper functioning. Solutions architects are also responsible for identifying interdependencies between the system, infrastructure and project, and ensuring that all work together properly. They must balance project demands and manage the creation from start to finish, all while staying within the timeframe demands of the solution.
