Visual/UI Designers play an important part in creating aesthetically appealing and effective web layouts, product illustrations, iconography, print materials, presentations (analog and print) and other internal and external communication materials. Visual Designers often work within multifunctional teams along with user experience researchers, interaction designers, product designers, marketers, salespersons and other key business stakeholders to create products that are enjoyable to use.

There is an increasing number of companies who are seeking Visual/UI Designers who can translate complex ideas and concepts into something clear and easily understandable. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for Visual Designers is expected to rise faster compared to other professions.
