A QA Manual Test Engineer is a vital position in developing and delivering a variety of products for high-tech companies. This position will require the person to understand acceptance criteria of user stories, develop specific test scenarios and document those tests in industry-standard tools such as Rally or ALM, and create tasks without supervision to implement and configure various testing tools.
Strong skills in a LINUX or UNIX environment are often highly sought after, and a QA Manual Test Engineer must be able to create and execute SQL queries for backend database testing. When it comes to education, a Bachelor's in science is considered the bare minimum, although many companies will require a Master's degree or a number of years of work experience.
Denver, Colorado is often thought of as a place where urban sophistication is met with outdoor adventure. The city was first founded back in 1858 when a group of prospectors from Georgia came across the Great Plains of Colorado and soon discovered gold. After that, the city was established and quickly grew. Now, you can enjoy its rich history as well as cultural attractions, music festivals, theaters, fine dining and plenty of bars and clubs to unwind and relax in.
Denver is also a place that is rich for business growth. The public transportation system offers many ways to get to and from work for those who choose not to use a car, and the openness of both the city and its inhabitants makes it accommodating for employees and business owners across the board.
