Hello! I’m Lupe Colangelo, and I manage our employer partnerships here at GA. Prior to that, I spent 2+ years as a Career Coach on GA’s Outcomes team. I’ve been lucky to have such extensive experience directly supporting GA candidates.
General Assembly produces tech talent in Engineering, UX, and Data. On the partnerships team’ at GA, our goal is to create a network by partnering with organizations, such as Hired, who work to place high-intent tech talent in jobs.
General Assembly started in 2011 as a coworking space where entrepreneurs, self-starters, and more collaborated and taught each other the latest technical skills. Now, we’re a global technology talent organization that develops talent through upskilling and re-skilling.
People from all different fields, experiences, and backgrounds come to General Assembly for workshops and learning new skills, take our Immersive courses to change careers and break into tech, or digitally transform their teams on a larger scale.
We have courses for people at all different levels in their career; whether you’re just starting in tech or are advanced, there’s something for everyone.
We partner with Hired to help our employer partners access great talent. We also are able to get employers connected with GA Immersive talent on the Hired platform for free!
Our graduates are prepared for junior roles in data science, software engineering, and UX design. General Assembly learning has been transforming thousands of careers since 2011 through curriculum, community, and results.
This year in particular, we are thrilled to be partnered together as Hired goes global. At GA, anyone from around the world can leverage our courses. We have global grads and alumni that can successfully use Hired to find a new job they love, in any location. Together we are able to set people up for success in their jobs and lives.
