2023 introduced new challenges and transformations to the hiring market. Layoffs, hiring freezes, inflation, and the explosion of generative artificial intelligence are among the most significant changes challenging both employers and jobseekers. Due to these market shifts, we at Hired adapted and pivoted strategically to continue supporting customers and candidates.
Hired renews focus as a product-led organizationOur shift into becoming a product-led organization started with our new VP of Product, Jon Dobrowolski. Jon brings decades of experience and expertise to our team and has advocated for Hired for years.
To Jon, being a product-led company means being market-oriented. This focuses on both product and revenue while emphasizing the relevance of what’s happening in the market and where we stand in it. All of this starts with continuous customer discovery and reinvigorating the product vision to drive a new strategy suited to the changes in the hiring landscape.
New partnerships to enhance the hiring and job searchingHired continued to grow its network of partners to support our customers and jobseekers. The addition of ATS partners such as Ashby, Teamtailor, and JazzHR enhanced our ability to streamline systems, ensuring a smoother experience for employers. Did you know companies who complete ATS integration with Hired actually have a 46% better placement rate than those without?
With our partner Workable, we showcased the impact of integration in a case study with our mutual client Zego.
Hired also welcomed a new type of partner. We expanded our reach through relationships with nearly 20 Venture Capital firms on the Proven platform, supporting startup hiring needs.
On the jobseeker side of partnerships, Hired participated in several events including:
Hired also strengthened both employer and candidate partnerships through content collaboration combining the expertise of Hired and its partners:
In 2024, Hired will continue to grow its partnership ecosystem through more integrations, new jobseeker resources, and joint efforts with our LHH sister brands.
Product updates to streamline the hiring experienceBased on customer feedback, our engineering team introduced new features and enhancements to improve both the job search and the hiring process.

Embracing the wins of 2023We united the team in Washington, D.C. for our second corporate offsite. With a focus on raising the bar despite the challenges of this year, we strategized, reconnected, and celebrated this opportunity to come together. We participated in team building, functional breakouts, a scavenger hunt, and some karaoke. Thank you to our People team for a fantastic event and all the hard work that went into planning it!
We were thrilled to garner more recognition from G2 in the Job Search Sites, Recruiting Automation, and Diversity Recruiting categories. See the details here:
Here’s what one user had to say about the platform:
“I like how you are given information about candidates on Hired that you have to assume or may not know on other platforms. It makes it easier to find quality candidates and sets expectations for both the employer and the candidate. Hired allows me to save a lot of time when it comes to talent sourcing due to the numerous amount of features and how easy it is to use.”
