Our team is continuously working to improve the Hired platform based on client and jobseeker feedback. Check out the product releases on the talent marketplace for customers’ and jobseekers’ success in 2024. Our Engineering and Product teams bring updates impacting global hiring, sourcing, and efficiency. Here’s what’s new on Hired:
We surveyed employers on Hired about their 2024 hiring plans and found that in-office and hybrid hiring is ramping up. Data revealed that 50% of employers plan on hiring for hybrid roles and 22% plan on hiring for in-office positions. Meanwhile, only 17% are planning for remote roles.
Our new update allows employers to get specific for on-site and hybrid hiring. When it comes to return-to-office, we know candidates have strong preferences. This product release makes it easier to differentiate between hybrid and fully on-site roles during position creation and filter candidates accordingly.
For hybrid roles, employers see the number of days a candidate is willing to be on-site before opening their profile.
To get started, simply create a new position or open the filters for an existing position and click “On-site” or “Hybrid” to make the selection. For both on-site and hybrid roles, employers can select up to eight locations and limit candidates based on their proximity to selected locations by radius.
2. New ways to source by skillSourcing by skill is easier. Major enhancements to skill-based sourcing include:
Together, these features help employers connect with the most relevant candidates for roles where skill-based experience is a must. Create a new position or modify an existing one today to check them out.
3. Salary improvements use new currencies for global jobseekers and better global candidate matchingHiring is going more global by the day! To facilitate this shift and offer transparent salary expectations alignment, our product now supports nine new currencies, including:
The update also includes:
These salary improvements upgrade the candidate experience and employer efficiency by allowing employers to:
To avoid confusion when seeking international job opportunities, we recommend jobseekers list their minimum base salary, assuming they are not relocating from their home location.
Finally, the update features a streamlined work authorization collection to help ensure role eligibility. Employers can collect visa sponsorship data for every country a candidate has in their location preferences and it will show up on their profile. This allows employers to filter for candidates who don’t require sponsorship, for example, more accurately.
4. Role type consolidation for easier sourcingThis update improves candidate match quality from the initial position creation. The Software Engineer role type now includes all specialties previously found under Engineering Management, QA, and DevOps. This makes it easier to source software engineers with experience in these areas and reduces the need for private searching.
5. SmartRecruiters ATS Integration is our newest Hired partnerSave time by connecting SmartRecruiters to Hired. Employers now have the option to automatically pull job details from SmartRecruiters into the Hired platform and push interested candidates directly to the linked job in SmartRecruiters. This integration also means candidate status changes made in SmartRecruiters carry over to Hired.
