User Experience (UX) Designers are charged with the task of improving user satisfaction for different products, including websites, desktop software and mobile apps. Their job may involve improving accessibility, ease of use and consumer interaction. Working with data collected from questionnaires, focus groups and surveys, UX designers are able to develop products with improved functionality and usability.
UX Designers may be involved in the design phase of a planned product or service. They may also be tasked with testing an already designed product to identify and solve any user difficulties that were missed during the design phase. Other duties and responsibilities may include measuring human-computer interaction (HCI), evaluating UX effectiveness and developing wireframes.
