Project Manager Job Description

Technical Project Managers develop and handle the planning, finalizing and executing solution for products, services and models. They coordinate technology and operations teams, ensuring each knows the correct timeline and needs for upcoming releases. By working with stakeholders and higher management, they structure project-based processes for optimal efficiency and improved client satisfaction.

Project Managers possess both advanced technical and managerial skills. They work with software and hardware installations, upgrades and maintaining on- and off-site processes. These managers need to have a good understanding and working knowledge of the MS SQL platform, and be able to test and troubleshoot systems using it. Project Managers are also responsible for developing progress reports, presentations and the requirements needed for project completion. The abilities to review and test code, and make change recommendations to stakeholders are also important.
