They are responsible for determining how each component is labeled during testing. Successful QA Test Automation Engineers are able to identify what and when to automate as well as determine if test automation is even necessary.

QA Test Automation Engineers work in different industries, including information technology and manufacturing. Depending on the product, the engineer may use specialized software to automate certain tests to ensure 100% test coverage. The duties of a QA Test engineer do not stop after the product release. Test engineers often follow up on consumer feedback for reports of any bugs or defect.
