THE POSITION

At Cylance, we see quality as more than just defects. As a member of the Test team, you represent our customers and their users to ensure every aspect of the product is simple, intuitive and works as expected. Our mission is to protect our customers' computers without being noticed. Your expertise will contribute to a powerful endpoint product that uses minimal resources while preventing the most advanced malware and zero-day attacks from ever even running

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Write and execute test plans, test cases from user stories, workflows and specifications
* Identify, record and track bugs
* Diagnose issues and partner with development teams to resolve defects
* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
* Design and implement test automation/infrastructure
* Be a strong team player and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
* 6+ months of Software Testing experience preferred or other related experiences
* Experience working with white box and black box testing methodologies
* Experience working with Agile methodologies and on Agile teams is preferred
* Experience working with Jenkins CI/CD and feature delivery pipelines is preferred
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Selenium, PyCharm etc. is preferred
* Effective problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Proven and demonstrable skill in Python or C#.
* Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
* Must have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger projects
* Takes initiative and approaches all tasks and projects proactively
* Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little supervision
* Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and positive approach

ABOVE AND BEYOND

* Basic understanding of artificial-intelligence concepts (e.g. Neural networks)
* Familiarity with SW security concepts such as vulnerability, exploitation, and mitigation
* Experience with testing framework pytest
