Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to architect and develop core system UX for company platforms, and future flagship devices and services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing user interface for applications. Prior experience must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing web applications using JS MVC frameworks; utilizing JavaScript and C# programming languages to implement software components; designing and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON / XML payloads; automating CI/CD pipeline; using version control systems, and JIRA issue-tracking system; working with Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and Visual Studio C# debugger; analyzing and optimizing performance of C# applications using performance profiling tools; documenting software design and requirements using UML diagrams; optimizing web application performance using Chrome DevTools; writing unit and integration tests for JS and C# code; analyzing and optimizing web page rendering using Chrome DevTools; analyzing and optimizing JS application bundling; utilizing SDLC and SDLC methodologies including Agile and SCRUM; working with QA and QC methodologies; and developing web applications for IE / Edge, Firefox, and Chrome.
