Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Join our team as a Senior Linux Systems Integrator/Engineer and analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
* Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities
* Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
* Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
* Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
* Develop technical documentation
* Develop system architecture and system design documentation
* Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
* Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
* Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
* Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

Required Education and Experience:

* Active or reinstatable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (U.S Citizenship Required)
* 10 years of experience as a System Engineer (SE) and with experience to include Integrating technologies into fielded systems
* Experience with application of the System Engineering philosophies and principles to produce real-world systems
* Strong Unix/Linux Integration/Administration/Engineering
* Windows platforms
* Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
* CISCO network products (or others)
* Experience with or exposure to Jira
* Experience with Quality Assurance and Configuration Management efforts and programs
* Application of Risk Management techniques
* Experience with System Test Programs, System Architecting and Troubleshooting and monitoring systems
* Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
* Demonstrated experience managing system requirements and requirements processes

Desired Education and Experience:

* In depth experience VMware
* Exposure to or experience with any of the following technologies: Puppet or similar (SALT, Chef, Ansible), Jira, MS Windows OS, MySQL, MongoDB
* Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.) from an accredited four-year college or university
