Our team is the West region E2E performance team. We are accountable for the T-Mobile network performance in the West region. In a continuous team work with our markets we area accountable for the performance of tens of thousands of sites using 5G, VoLTE, LTE, UMTS and GSM technologies across 11 states and 15 markets. We interact every day with hundreds of RF engineers who seek advice, help and guidance in their daily jobs.

We're looking a new team member who will help us translate RF engineering needs, tasks and ideas into a SW code which will automate our jobs, will standardize the tasks we are completing on daily basis and eventually will help to improve the T-Mobile network performance and the customer experience.

As an RF engineer with software developer responsibilities, you work in a team of peers to tackle problems as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of the team you will be asked to design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions. We operate in a fast-paced environment using agile methodology and lightweight applications. We use SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python. We encourage innovation and we will expect from you to take a high level of ownership throughout the project you will be asked to lead.

* Deep knowledge of NOKIA and / or ERICSSON RAN platforms
* SQL, Tableau, Power BI and Python coding

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline with emphasis in Wireless Telecom technologies

What you'll do in this role:

In this job you will be required to join and be integral part of all the network optimization efforts in the T-Mobile West Region markets. You will do this working in a team of amazing teammates. You and the rest of the team will have to consult, guide, and advise the markets in their daily needs. This will require not only technical skills, but also a lot of leadership skills as the markets do not report directly to the region, but they rather look at the region as a pool of experts and advisors who will need to be ready to provide insights which are above and beyond what they already know. The end goal of all this work is to provide to the T-Mobile customers the best possible network experience! Most of your work will be on LTE and VoLTE technologies, but you will also be required to work on legacy networks such as GSM and UMTS and the newly launched 5G network. You will deliver this job using your SW coding skills leveraged but your awesome RF Engineering background!
