Key Responsibilities:

As a Technology Consultant at Capco, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects and change initiatives for leading clients across all industries, including but not limited to Gas & Oil, Electric Utilities, Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth and/or Insurance.

A Solutions Architect will work closely with other architects, IT teams (project managers, business analysts, etc.) and client stakeholders to turn business and IT requirements into an overarching solutions design, by clearly defining the systems, interfaces, data and infrastructure of a proposed solution. A solution architect will ensure consistency across program work streams by aligning designs to the client's architecture, owning the overall technical solution, and participating in Architecture Review Boards.

Primary Job Functions:

* Provides architectural leadership over the entire lifecycle of a solution.
* Drives the translation of the client's complex business problems into the selected technology solutions by designing complete solutions that leverage various IT services components.
* Leads the solution architecture recommendation to the client, including performing an analysis of technology applications and researching alternative solutions not leveraged by the program.
* Creates solution architecture documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle of the solutions.
* Ensures that proposed project solutions fit with the architecture standards and overall IT roadmaps.
* Ensures that the project infrastructure is supportable and can be transitioned smoothly into production support organizations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of eight (8) years solution delivery experience, within the Energy and Financial Services industries preferably.
* Extensive experience in application technical design, and systems development and integration methodologies, along with excellent interpersonal, research, analysis, and communication skills.
* Demonstrated capability in the design, development, and implementation of system architectures for complex programs, utilizing reusable design patterns
* The individual must be comfortable working across business and IT domains, and possess the ability to shift between technical analysis and business value discussions.
