We are currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the role of Build Coordinator/Software Tools Specialist for the TPY-2 Radar software team in Fullerton, California.

TPY-2 is a rapidly relocatable ballistic missile defense radar used by the United States and its allies. Our software teams employ an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers. We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a diverse work force whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms.

As a critical team member, the Senior Software Engineerwill support this elite team of engineers by overseeing builds, configuring software COTS/FOSS, writing custom scripts to automate work flows, ensuring configuration control of software products and tools, utilizing DevOps concepts and packaging deliveries.

The Senior Software Engineer will work in a dynamic environment in which evolving program priorities dictate individual task priority. The Senior Software Engineer will be a part of a much larger team, which requires regular collaboration with team members, many of whom are at other geographic locations. The Senior Software Engineer must be comfortable communicating in both oral and written formats.

This position requires Active Secret Clearance.

Required Skills/Experience:

* 6 years in systems administration/software development environment tooling
* 4 years in Linux OS
* 4 years shell scripting in LINUX, Unix, or Windows
* 4 years in software version control, example tools include: Rational Clearcase Software Configuration Management family of tools, GIT
* 2 years in DevOps including build automation, static analysis and test framework
* Ability to work independently while able to support team goals and communicate program activities

ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelors' degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Desired Skills/Experience:

* PERL, Jenkins, Bash Shell Scripting, Clearcase, Redhat Linux
* Radar domains development environments

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
