Senior Software Developer

Position Description

A senior web application developer with HTML5/JavaScript/CSS expertise and preferably with Java/Spring development experience is needed to work in Firm Risk Management Technology Credit development team.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and building systems in a multi-tiered enterprise environment.

The position requires strong Web design and development experience, strong analytical capability and problem solving skills, working OO design knowledge, and solid Java/Spring knowledge.Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are required.Responsibilities include developing, enhancing and supporting applications using HTML5/JavaScript/CSS, core Java, Spring, and DB2 UDB.

The developer must be capable of working independently on large projects, interacting with clients and business analysts, and working effectively as part of a team consisting of local and offshore team members.

Education Level

BS in Computer Science or relevant Technical Degree

Experience Level

5 Years of Experience in Software Development

Skills Required

3 years working with HTML5/JavaScript/CSS

3 years designing web/visual applications

3 years working with Java, Spring

3 years OO Design

2 years Database Design/Stored Procedure/SQL development (DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)

3 Years Linux/Unix/ksh/Perl experience
