Job Description

Wintrust is growing our Project Management team. This position will provide consultative services to align and integrate project or program efforts and resources within our business strategy. This includes managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business, but primarily focused on an enterprise-crucial, high-profile program. Will also monitor status including financials/budgets and make any necessary adjustments and reviews the quality of the completed work on a regular basis.

Utilize best practice project and program management techniques including road-mapping, capacity planning, resource management, work stream management, issue reporting, estimation analysis, project status updates, timeline and budget management, benefit summarization, risk management and issue escalation.

Create a detailed work plan that identifies and sequences activities to be completed.

In conjunction with subject matter experts, determine the resources required to complete the project and ensure all the resources are allocated effectively and understand the scope and objectives of the project.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team.

7-10 years experience

Prior Project Management experience preferably within financial services or banking

Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Knowledgeable in program management methodology and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles

Acquisition/Integration experience

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
