We are looking to hire a Senior Front End Web Developer to join the Verizon Consumer Customer Service Technology Team.
* Lead small to mid-size projects and regularly mentors staff members and peers. * Perform high-level and detailed designs for large and midsized complex projects. * Perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, scheduling and tracking activities. * Be responsible for analyzing problems, developing solutions and making decisions independently that impact overall projects and system. * Ensure software design and programming is done in accordance with the software quality assurance standards and system implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures.

* A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant discipline. * Object-oriented design & programming skills. * Experience in WebUI framework and WebUI development which includes Usability, Page transition, page navigation, image caching, lazy page loading. * Knowledge of Microservices. * Experience in WebUI framework and WebUI development which includes Usability, Page transition, page navigation, image caching, lazy page loading. * Experience in Front End payload, ability to make decisions on front-end validations, server side validations. * Experience in end-to-end application flows. * Experience in using UI debugging and profiling tools. * Experience in Transactional flows from Front End to backend. * Experience in performance tuning the web application. * Experience in development of complex multi-layer applications. * Experience in development of multi-threaded application in interfacing with other systems. * Experience in XML and XSLT transformation. * Knowledge of and experience with application servers such as IBM Websphere. * Ability to work on agile development environment. * Experience with AccuRev, Git version control systems. * Experience in development of call center web application. * Telecommunications experience.
