Job Description

The ETS POD (Portfolio Oversight and Delivery) team is responsible for the successful implementation of large scale, complex projects and programs that span across multiple technical disciplines and locations.

Project Manager to lead and manage multiple projects in a structured and efficient manner by means of following a mature lifecycle.

The project manager will be collaborating with the Engineering teams, Product managers, Business and large number of Technology teams in their efforts to create organization efficiency and drive strategic enterprise solutions that share common components and work cross-platform. This role will form part of the Projects team which operates across Enterprise Technology& Services (ETS) and be supporting End User Technology (EUT) product families.

The Project Manager is responsible for all project phases and acts as a single point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders (technical, client and management).

Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:

Drive end to end execution of projects/program consisting of multiple work streams

Risk, action, issues and dependencies identification, resolution / mitigation co-ordination

Development of detailed delivery plans, information documents and status reporting

Manage local, regional and global projects, virtual teams and matrix managed teams

Facilitating project meetings

Adherence to project lifecycle quality and policy standards

Create and articulate executive level communication on a project or program level

Responsible for senior stakeholder management, communications and escalation

Experience & Skills required (Must have):

(Agile Project Management) Experience of differing execution methodologies such as waterfall, agile/scrum and hybrid approaches

(Waterfall Project Management) Management of IT infrastructure and / or software developments of varying scale and complexity

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from a diverse cultural background and locations

Strong problem solving skills

Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently

A sound background for the adherence to business processes and procedures

Good MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel) skills

Ability to work with all levels of management

Ability to work under pressure

Proactive, positive, strong sense of ownership and accountability

Candidates must have a good attention to detail and organizational skills

Must have the ability to be flexible, work independently be self-motivated and a team player

Be assertive/confident

MS PowerPoint knowledge and competency

Excellent written / reporting skills

MS Project knowledge and competency

Financial industry experience, preferably tier 1 Investment banking experience

Experience & Skills (Nice to have):

Agile certifications e.g. Scrum master

PMP certified (or equivalent recognized professional standard)

Understanding of ITIL v3

Software deployment experience

Microsoft Deployment technologies

HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) experience
