The Environments Engineering team is growing and we are seeking a Performance Engineer substantial performance engineering, analysis, and optimization experience.

We want your expertise and fresh thinking on our Environment Engineering Team!

You will lead cross-functional collaboration between teams to effectively resolve performance issues, while also influencing and implementing changes to remove bottlenecks.

You will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates on problem solving and identifying the most effective resolutions for our enterprise customers.

With your know-how and experience, you will become a Workday subject matter expert. You will drive performance resolutions for proactive monitoring, improved automation for day-to-day operations tasks, performance metrics and dashboards to reflect the production systems health.

If you have

* 5-7 years of experience in Performance Analysis and troubleshooting of production systems
* Experienced tracking and managing data consumption, working with Hadoop, and Datameter technologies
* Extensive experience in Linux OS and Linux monitoring tools
* Proficiency in UNIX scripting and developing tools using any of Java, Ruby, Python programming languages (experience in development of performance measurement and analysis tools a plus - e.g. logparser, monitoring dashboard)
* BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Proficient in JVM technology and JVM troubleshooting skills are a must
* Knowledge and Application experience of advanced programming concepts (e.g. threads, exceptions and I/O, memory management) in Java technology stack required.
* Exposure to Hadoop, hive technology stack for data mining (desired)
