Hughes has an exciting opportunity for a Operational Change Management Specialist. This position supports the Operations Organization and would be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities:

* To oversee Internal and External audit processes and responses (Payment Card Industry, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO, etc.)
* Assist in change control duties for the North American Operations Group
* Maintenance and update of change control policies, training, and documentation in conjunction with the managers of the Network Operations technical staff
* Coordinate activities necessary to control, track and audit changes within the network


* Assist in creation and maintenance of Operational Metrics and processes
* Assist and drive changes required for Operational tools including Salesforce ticketing systems utilized by the Network Operations Group
* Will require off-hours (Nights and Weekend) support on occasion

Basic Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or similar field
* 3-5 years of experience in audit response and management
* 3-5 years of experience in operational management

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite
* ITIL certification preferred
* Knowledge of Salesforce
* Strong change and or program/project management skills and related experience
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong communication skills
