3D Graphics Engineer

Description

Adobe's 3D & Immersive division is looking for 3D graphics engineers with a specialization in real-time, GPU, Global Illumination and Rendering. This is an exciting opportunity to join Adobe's interdisciplinary 3D team to help bring state-of-the-art technology to life in real-time photorealistic rendering using the very latest hardware and machine learning algorithms. The role involves directly working with a team of young and motivate research scientists, engineers, designers, artists and product managers.

The work will impact products such as Dimension, AfterEffects, Substance, Project Aero, and Adobe's cloud service offerings.

Join us in the journey to shape the next generation of creative storytelling. To qualify for this position, you must possess a solid background in software engineering and design, along with foundational knowledge of computer graphics.

Responsibilities

* Lead and develop state-of-the-art real-time physically based rendering platforms, creating solutions and algorithms on top of the latest generation graphics APIs including Optix, DirectX, and Metal including RTX, and DXR.
* Work with other researchers and engineers in computer graphics and vision to explore novel machine learning algorithms that can accelerate the rendering pipeline.
* Invent, develop, and publish the next generation algorithms for 3D rendering.

Requirements

* Game engine experience and real-time rendering systems
* Ph.D. or Masters or equivalent work experience in the area of 3D rendering and/or GPU programming and development
* Ability to efficiently deliver beautifully architected production ready software:
* Strong C++ development skills
* Software architecture and design
* GPU compute language experience (DirectX, Metal, Vulkan, CUDA, GL)
