Most employers require a candidate to have a bachelor’s in computer science or a programmer’s certification depending on the level of the job. Often times, industry experience in engineering or mathematics will take the place of certification. C++ developers can find employment in many industries, such as customer service, engineering, media, finance and research although a vast majority is found in the telecommunications industry. The Bureau of Labor indicates that software-as-a-service or SaaS is a growing field and is composed of applications provided through the Internet. SaaS programs will work on all platforms and do not need any rewriting to work on different platforms.
