TRM Infrastructure & Services Project Manager/Specialist is interfacing with BRM's, IT Partners, TRM Peers and Global IT Tower Peers to conduct assessments, design and planning of technical aspects for small, medium and large Business Projects - e.g. new office sites, relocations, consolidations, expansions, retrofitting, new technology introduction, etc. - in close relationship with BD IT suppliers.
Additionally, TRM Infrastructure & Services Project Manager/Services leads technical project teams and interfaces collaboratively with the IT PMO and IT Project Managers, Coordinators and Administrators
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Has a broad and in-depth understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies
* Technical design and planning for small/medium and large infrastructure projects
* Control and feed details to supplier for accurate run books and documentation
* Feedback for requirements for standardization or adjustment to standards
* Work in controlled processes via ITOne and other IT tools
* Maintain close relationship with Corporate Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, and GIS
* Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts within own technical area to design relatively advanced solutions; demonstrates understanding of key business drivers
* Serves as an expert within a technical area and educates others on technical issues
* Collaborates with all relevant parties to deliver solutions and services
* Collaborates with internal/external customers and all relevant parties to deliver solutions and services
* Draws on best practices and comprehensive technical knowledge to advise internal/external customers
* Collaborates with internal/external customers to develop a culturally sensitive plan for achieving Business objectives
* Recommends methods for improved work processes, detailing the process's strengths and answering internal/external customers' questions to gain group consensus
* Supports the implementation process, leading and/or aligning the efforts of involved parties; forges strong partnerships with appropriate constituencies
* Measures performance of the newly implemented solution against desired results and makes basic improvements; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for outcomes
* Tracks internal trends and suggests process improvements based on observations
* Questions current methods while evaluating broad implications, to develop practical improvements; focuses on achieving goals rather than a fear of failure
* Approaches issues from multiple perspectives and collaborates with internal/external customers in generating creative, effective and practical solutions
EXPERIENCE
* At least 5 years of experience in a Senior IT Engineering, Project Management, or other relevant role
* Experience working in a corporate environment
* Experience working with outsourced providers
* Savvy in working with geographically distributed team members / virtual collaboration
* Extensive experience in troubleshooting issues
* Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
* Strong project management skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS
* Familiarity with server technologies
* Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies
* Familiarity with VoIP and traditional telephony, Cisco or Avaya experience a plus
* Familiarity using Microsoft Office, Skype, Visio, Project, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive
* Active Directory, Messaging, DNS, Site & Services, Group Policies
* Share / Folder permission best practices & security groups
* Client Computing
