The Xbox Live SDK team is looking for creative engineers to innovate and craft software for our vibrant developer community. You will work side by side with our client and service teams to build a positive and fun working environment, while growing your career in the process.

Our team builds a gaming SDK and associated experiences that run across all Xbox Live platforms (e.g. Console, PC, mobile). The software you build will enable developers to more easily deliver games to new and existing gamers on all of their favorite devices - everywhere in the world. We make the integration with Xbox Live easy so game developers can focus on delighting customers with innovative and compelling game experiences.

* You should have at least one year of experience delivering quality software within a professional organization.
* A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, memory-models, multi-threading).
* You are an ambitious teammate who is passionate about learning and sharing knowledge with others.
* You are creative and have strong design, development and collaboration skills.
* 2+ years programming in a native language (e.g. C, C++)
* 1+ years programming in 1 or more of C#, Java, Objective C, Swift

Strong Plusses

* Understanding of mobile-specific technical and design considerations
* You have experience in native cross-platform programming across a range of technology stacks.
* Game development experience is not necessary but definitely welcome
* You having iOS or Android development experience would be delightful
* Having a BS/MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) will likely make you more successful
