We at Sonar team, within Cloud+AI group are building deep security tools, platform, and large scale distributed services that dynamically analyze content (files, URLs) for malware. Our detonation platform has strict service level agreements. Sonar platform serves as the detonation platform of choice for Office 365, Windows Defender ATP and MCAS; and is now expanding to other Microsoft products/services (LinkedIn, Azure Sentinel, Office Forms etc.). Sonar service provide malware as well as phishing protection based on combination of file & URL detonation as well as AI/ML based solutions built on big data platform like ADLS/ Spark/ Azure Databricks. We are a data driven organization that is expanding our investment into utilizing rich detonation signals, telemetry, threat intel correlations and applications of statistical analysis/ AI/ ML to improve the protection promise delivered to our customers and starve the bad guys behind malware and phishing attack.

Required Qulaifications

* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience building and supporting large scale cloud services with a solid shipping track record
* 2+ years of experience with big data platforms like Azure Data Lake, Cosmos, HDInsight, Azure SQL or Azure Databricks/spark

Preferred Qualifications:

* Excellent design and problem solving skills
* Production level coding skills in high level programming languages such as C#, Java, Python or equivalent
* Experience with ETL, data modeling, data organization and data analytics techniques
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security researchers, and Data Scientists
