Job Description

Software Engineer III sought by Vonage America Inc. in Holmdel, NJ, 40 hrs./wk. Duties:

Provide hands-on support, design, development, and technical guidance for all Salesforce.com

related requirements. Responsible for design and development of large scale, technically-

complex solutions and integrations of Salesforce with internal and other third party systems.

Responsible for Salesforce system administration and development support. Responsible for

design and development of salesforce.com custom object creation, apex classes, triggers,

workflows, validation rules. Duties will encompass SFDC system design, translating business

requirements into functional solutions, SFDC system engineering technique and development

and also data transformations between SFDC and 3rd party systems. Responsibilities include

evaluating business and technical concepts to determine feasibility, effort and timeframe. Work

closely with Product, BAs and cross functional teams. Typical assignments include hands-on

development, platform evaluation, scalability, and team mentoring. Work within implementation

teams, implementing, supporting integration and QA and working with the various teams for a

successful deployment. May troubleshoot issues in areas like frontend, backend services/APIs

and data issues. Min Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information

Technology or related field, and 5 years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field.

Must have Salesforce Developer certification; 5 years of progressive experience in Software

Development, System Design and Implementation. Must have 5 years of experience in the

following Salesforce technologies: APEX, Visualforce, Administration, SOQL, SOSL, triggers

and workflows/customizations. Experience with Salesforce email service and email templates,

Salesforce Managed Packages. 2 years of hands-on experience with data load and ETL

technologies. 3 years of experience in integration of 3rd party applications. Please reply with
