Do you want to play a significant role in the design of a mission critical set of features for Commerce Ecosystem at Microsoft?

The Member Growth and Experiences team is looking for a solid front end software engineer to drive some of the key commerce Experiences investments at Microsoft . We are focused on the delivery of innovative scenarios that light up Microsoft Account experiences across Web, Xbox and beyond. As part of our product development, you will be owning code that powers our web portal <<https://account.microsoft.com>> which is visited by 2.5M customers globally a day. We have some very exciting problems spaces with direct revenue impact on Office and Xbox businesses and are working on some scenarios where we are starting at ground floor and completely re-thinking how we engage and retain our customers. Our team operates in combined engineering, and embraces continuous development and services excellence and have well optimized Agile processes to support continuous shipping.

* Knowledge of the Web UX industry today
* Passion, excitement and experience with developing customer-facing user experiences
* Passion, excitement and experience around data-driven decision making
* Solid hands-on modern web stack (Javascript, Jquery, Angular.js, React.js) and cloud services experience.
* Customer empathy and passion for building delightful user experiences.
* Experience with agile engineering techniques
* Experience in shipping cloud services and UX scaled to millions of users.
* Desire to make an immediate impact within a mature product and organization.
* Enjoys working with teams across the organization to solve business problems in creative ways.

Experience Required

* BA/BS degree in CS, related discipline or equivalent work experience
* 5 or more years of Web UX including full stack design and coding experience
* 6 or more years of general design and coding experience

We are looking for a solid full stack developer who has data driven mindset and demonstrates customer empathy while designing robust engineering solutions. You'll be joining a highly talented, collaborative and motivated team, and will have the opportunity to work on the full software stack for a high-scale, highly-available UX surfaces with an emphasis on delightful, modern user experiences. You'll partner closely with our business and program management team delivering innovative solutions for subscription management, configuration of payment instruments, and orders workflow.
