Job Description

We are looking for a developer to help us improve our mobile development products, so they are more fun to use, reduce friction and improve the experience of mobile software developers.

We are working on hot-reloading technology for our mobile tools, allowing developers to easily iterate on their ideas, try code changes and see their designs come to life without having to wait for long build and deployment times to take place.

We have an opening for a senior software engineer, someone that will be comfortable breaking apart problems, solving them, and working with our partners in the .NET runtimes, user interface toolkits and development environments to bring a complete, polished and delightful development experience to market.

Our team works on both Windows and Mac systems, and we target the Android and iOS platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years industry experience using C#

Preferred Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience designing, implementing and maintaining cross platform tools

Experience with .NET IL and/or dynamic code generation

Experience with developing in C

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

The main focus will be to reduce the development iteration time down to 1 second for trivial code, or content, changes for Xamarin based projects. This will involve working with the Mono runtime and debugger, along with Xamarin.iOS, Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.Forms teams.
