Job Description

Devices have transformed and defined modern life, powered by connectivity to services, data and one another. As the reach of computing expands, so has the importance of security of devices ranging from small IoT devices to servers powering the cloud. In Crypto, Identity and Authentication group we are responsible for securing our users' identity and data from ever increasing threats. We build operating system technologies that strongly authenticate our users and secure our users' data.

* 6+ years of experience developing code in C/C++
* Working experience or professional knowledge in the below areas is a plus, but not required:

Operating system components such as kernel, file systems, networking, memory management, scheduling, etc.

Authentication, authorization, data protection, cryptography and protocols

Device architectures such as CPU, memory, storage, and networking

Distributed systems

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
