We are a fast growing v1 product (public release in June) tasked with the vision to make it simple & intuitive for enterprise customers to build, manage and deploy customer service bots and monitor bot performance without needing to rely on developers or AI experts - a multi-billion dollar opportunity for Microsoft. We're hiring experienced software engineers to build a brand new Virtual Agent SaaS service. If you'd like to work with AI and Natural Language Processing and are passionate about building scalable, multi-tenant SaaS services, this is the right team for you.

* 7+ years experience in full-stack development successfully shipping services through multiple releases.
* Experience building scalable, maintainable and production-quality services using devops and CI/CD processes.
* Experience building and shipping multi-tenant SaaS services across multiple releases.
* Passion for delivering high quality, delightful experiences.
* Experience working across disciplines and influencing across teams.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with chat bots and NLP concepts a plus, but not required.

You'll be part of a fast growing team to help build out product capabilities and will own features end to end. Your responsibilities will include working with the Science teams to build and integrate Natural Language Processing and AI capabilities for the core virtual agent conversational runtime.

You will provide technical leadership to junior developers to help develop the necessary components, libraries and core services to support building great conversational experiences. You will work closely with engineering and PM team members to define and scope various features of the product.
