ABOUT RO

We are Ro, a mission-driven healthcare technology company reinventing the way the healthcare system works. As a Backend Tech Lead on the Applications team, you will build products for our members, physicians and pharmacy team; you will work closely with the engineering leadership team to maintain and create Ro's ultra-scalable and highly reliable software system.

Who are you? You are an experienced software engineer who loves mentoring and leading a team, all the while delivering the best possible customer experience, valuing software engineering practices such as testing, and always thinking about scalability and reusability when designing code. Our backend stack is Django/Python and react.js keeps our frontend humming.

At Ro, you will build technology to help people become a healthier version of themselves, turn physicians into better healthcare professionals and power our increasingly complex operations and fulfillment logistics.

What You'll Do

* Planning, high-level estimation, requirement analysis with Product Owner, Developers, and Designers
* Assessing the technical risk and assist in the creation of specifications
* Coordinating with the team to give technical leadership and achieve sprint goals
* Maintaining skill set matrix of the team
* Providing coding help and technical guidance to team members
* Maintaining and auditing code quality as per set guidelines and standards

What You Bring to the Engineering Team

* 7+ years building software in a professional environment
* You have a full-stack experience in building highly scalable web applications
* 3+ years of recent experience with back-end development using Python and ideally Django
* You have a solid understanding of issue management systems, project management skills and version control
* You have a thorough understanding of security aspects
