Job Description

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking an experienced Industrial Security Analyst to join our Cyber and Intelligence Mission Systems Division team of qualified security professionals. This position will be located in Woodland Hills, CA. and will report directly to the Algorithmic Warfare Department Security Manager.

Selected candidate will be responsible for supporting complex programs as they relate to many classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. FSO, PSO, and COMSEC custodian responsibilities will include interpreting and executing security programs for DoD and other IC clients. Candidate will serve as both a subject matter expert as well as provide multiple support activities to include database updates, access control/badge and program related paperwork processing, as well as conduct security education briefings. Candidate must have strong organization, verbal and written communication skills. Candidate will be expected to study and implement federal security regulations while also addressing company compliance. Candidate will interpret various government and company requirements and find acceptable deviations when successfully negotiated with respective government and company officials. Candidate will be required to conduct security incident investigations, prepare reports, and include preventative actions to ensure a strong security compliance program.

MSSEC

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum education/ experience: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of related CPSO/FSO or related experience or 8 years with MS Degree; An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Must possess an active TS/SCI.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with DCIDs and/or ICDs.

Bachelor' Degree.

Current working knowledge of the Intelligence Community

Familiarity with ICD 503 &705 processes (and/or applicable DCID standards)

CDSE FSO and/or PSO Training courses

COMSEC experience and custodian related responsibilities

PERSEC experience for DoD customer

Knowledge and use of JPAS and/or other IC security databases

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Ability to prioritize, be a self-starter, troubleshoot basic problems, and multi-task with minimal supervision.

Engage with and support routine employee Security requests and advise on solutions to problems and issues.

Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees (program managers, engineering staff, functional teams) as well as with government representatives

Experience supporting classified proposal development and execution

Excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organization skills enabling effective communications

Lead and assist with security incident investigations, identify root cause, corrective actions, and prepare reports for internal and external coordination, addressing investigation results, culpability, impact assessment and future mitigation as applicable

Counterintelligence, Insider Threat and OPSEC program experience

Develop and execute program protection strategies for existing programs, developing programs, or new concepts

Process, update and maintain visitor, badge, and access control records.

Knowledge and experience working with various physical security systems such as intrusion detection, access control, perimeter protection.

Experience in Emergency Response and Crisis Management planning and support.
