This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus of 20k for a candidate with a current TS/SCI that can be verified and hired at Raytheon.

Job Description:

Raytheon IIS has an immediate professional opening for an Infrastructure DevOps Lead. The qualified candidate will have a background and experience in the architecture and design of large-scale IT infrastructure systems. They will also lead infrastructure implementation activities for development and production environments using the latest DevOps build automation technologies, tools, and processes. A current US Government TS/SCI clearance is required as of day one for this position and US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

* Experience architecting and designing large-scale environments supporting software and systems engineering development activities
* Experience leading the implementation of extensive development environments using DevOps methods and following IT best practices
* A strong focus on IT service design that incorporates usability, reliability, maintainability, and scalability early in the design process
* Experience working in an agile development environment incorporating sprint planning and feature releases
* A strong working knowledge of infrastructure DevOps tools and methodologies
* Forward-thinking, understands the unique needs of systems and software development teams and engineers solutions to meet these needs in timely fashion
* Strong collaboration and communications skills
* Ability to work across teams to identify and understand issues, and devise and implement solutions to these
* Current US Government TS/SCI security clearance
* 8 years of related work experience

Desired Skills:

* Experience with the design, administration, and/or operation of Raytheon's closed-area collaboration networks
* Experience with DevOps tools other than infrastructure automation, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant, Jenkins etc.

Required Education:

Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of related work experience.
