Principle Engineers, Software located in Eastgate area near Factoria, WA will develop highly-scalable, highly-available and operable architecture and code for T-Mobile Digital applications including T-Mobile.com, My.T-Mobile.com, and the T-Mobile smartphone app.

Skill requirements:

Experience utilizing object-oriented software engineering in distributed, high-volume, high-scalable and highly-available transactional websites in the telecommunications or mass media industry.

Experience designing high-volume, highly-scalable and highly-available transactional websites using current technology in order to provide telecommunications industry-leading self-service and phone and plan purchasing experiences.

Experience developing high-volume self-service telecommunications industry website software in JavaScript, jQuery, AngualrJS, Angular, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML in order to reduce customer service related transaction costs & increase revenue through increased prospect customer conversations and accessory and insurance attach rates for phones & plans.

Experience developing API's and microservices which support high volume websites using JASON, Spring, Web Services, REST API's, Middleware services (SOAP) in order to reduce customer service related transaction costs & increase revenue through increased prospect customer conversations and accessory and insurance attach rates for phones & plans.

Experience developing and optimizing Adobe Experience Manager websites and components to update customer facing websites with a What You See is What You Get interface.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities :

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participate in making decisions in design sessions that are specific to T-Mobile digital channels

Collaborate with assigned sprint team(s), architecture, and business on functional and technical requirements.

Provide a documented level of effort for complex, T-Mobile specific T-Mobile website features.

Perform independent code reviews to ensure code meets T-Mobile quality standards.

Write portions of the technical design leveraging T-Mobile specific design processes.

Provide sign-off of code reviews.

Regularly review output of code quality analysis tools and ensure quality standards are met.

Provide timely escalation to management on relevant issues affecting key T-Mobile projects.

Identify and escalate scope creep and/or project risks as they become apparent.
