Job Description

The IT Experience (ITX) team is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure management, tooling, and automation to help with the design, build, and operation of the corporate systems infrastructure. This role will be primarily focused on designing and deploying hybrid cloud/on-premise compute.

Experience level:

* A senior level individual contributor in a systems engineering role.
* BS in CS or related discipline preferred.

Required Skills:

* Know one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Ruby, Python, JavaScript or Go.
* You contribute to Open Source -- your public Git repos/contributions show good examples of giving back to the community.
* You are an expert in infrastructure provisioning and management.
* Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet: one or more of these tools should be core to your current workflow.
* Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Core Competencies:

* Own the deployment and configuration management pipeline for both public cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP or Azure) and private cloud (VMware)
* Establish trust and strong relationships with senior leaders, operating managers, and professional staff across other teams as it pertains to infrastructure needs.
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert on all things infrastructure and automation.
* Create accurate and clear technical documentation; develop support processes and procedures; operational training and support ownership hand-off to peers/organizational units.
* Demonstrable experience designing complex technology stacks.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
* Strong team player. Willingness to take responsibility, accountability and ownership.
* Participate in compensated on-call rotation for critical services.
