Job Description

Creative Cloud Product Experience is seeking an expert software quality engineer to contribute to an exciting, high profile effort to change the way new users engage with Adobe's creative applications. We are crafting a mobile-first high performance library to drive user engagement across Adobe all Adobe Creative Cloud applications. While executing on this far-reaching strategy we are focusing on using analytics to drive rapid iteration and to continuously deliver measurable impact. This initiative is a phenomenal opportunity to develop shared technology stack serving the flagship applications as well as cutting-edge next generation products.What are we looking for in an ideal quality engineer? You will be joining a newly formed team of cross-platform, mobile and front end developers working closely with the internal product teams and data scientists. Your primary role is to automate the Engagement SDK library testing while maintaining our build pipeline and documenting the new features. You invite constructive debate, naturally strive to be a mentor and always work with bias towards action. Your work will be grounded on the user's engagement, validated in experimentation and pushing the boundaries of integrated growth strategy. Most importantly you enjoy tackling complex problems, have a deep empathy for customers, and drive tangible results in a team oriented culture.

What you'll do:

* Lead automation testing for Engagement SDK on desktop and mobile platforms
* Architect and build out the continuous integration system for the SDK running on a variety of platforms.
* Define the test suite for verification of published APIs
* Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand the requirements and to drive test planning and execution.
* Design and execute strategies for performance and load testing
* Participate in defining team culture and product vision

What you'll need to be successful:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
* 4+ years experience delivering production quality C++ cross-platform solutions
* 3+ years of experience testing products for developers e.g. SDKs, libraries, open source software or web browsers.
* Experience defining the automation testing plan and strategy for an app / website.
* Expertise with automation frameworks works like Junit, Selenium, TestNG, Mocha or Karma. Expertise in integrating automation frameworks with a build system like Jenkins.
* Experience coding web automation tests and automation tests for desktop/mobile apps.
* Experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby etc.
* Knowledge of emerging industry technologies and trends in JavaScript and cross-platform testing across desktop and mobile.
