DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer Marketaxess

Job Description

Position Requirements:

* 4-6 years experience as DevOps/Automation Engineer or equivalent.
* 2-4 years design and maintenance experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and microservices architectures.
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience.
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience.

Required Skills:

* Mastery of Kubernetes, especially AWS EKS.
* Expert in common CI/CD tooling for cloud based applications specifically Terraform/CloudFormation, Helm, Jenkins, and Git.
* Strong networking background. Expert in at least one scripting language.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience in monolith-to-microservice transition management.
* Familiarity with Atlassian toolset. Experience with market-leading tools in microservice/container support like DataDog, Prometheus, fluentd, etc.
* Knowledge and adherence to twelve-factor application methodology.
