DMG offers patients more than 700 physicians in more than 50 clinical specialties. Ranging from primary care including pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine to specialty care such as cardiology, orthopedics and urology, we have practice sites in nearly 110 locations across DuPage, Will, Kane and Cook Counties, making access to care easy and convenient for the patients we serve.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Data Developer works within the Information technology team to deliver on the next generation data platform. The Data Developer role will be an integral part of developing business intelligence and analytic solutions for customers while creating new reporting and analytics platforms necessary to improve care through better use of data and information.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Data Analyst Responsibilities
* Design, develop, extract, transform, and load (ETL) mappings, procedures, and schedules defining the BI/DW architecture to meet, support and participate in the delivery of technical solutions to complex business and technical requirements
* Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data integrity
* Identify and address application data issues that affect application integrity
* Evaluate reporting requirements and develop business intelligence and data warehousing solutions
* Develops and maintains software infrastructure
* Designs databases and data structures
* Codes software applications adhering to designs supporting internal business requirements or external user
* Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data integrity
* Communicating results and best practices to internal and external stake holders
* Implement Extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) data processes while leveraging best practices and frameworks.
* Work with business analyst and stakeholder to determine requirements.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Level of Education

* Bachelor Degree's required in Engineering, IT, Finance, Statistics or Healthcare Informatics.

Years of Experience

* 3 years of business analytics or IT experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* 3 years Experience in cloud environment (Azure, AWS), ETL tools, database platforms and reporting tools (Power BI)
* Proficiency in SQL querying required, DAX query experiences a plus
* Experience testing developed ETL packages
* Exposure to C# programming and pulling data via API's in various formats a plus
* Knowledge in data modeling and schema design
* Experience in OLAP design and semantic layers a plus
* Knowledge of SAS, Python, R or other statistical analysis software as well as predictive modeling is a plus
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills
