Job Description

Minimum Requirements

6+ years database architecture experience.

Critical Skills

* 6+ years of management experience
* 3+ years in data querying, analysis and modelling
* Familiarity and expertise in a variety of programs
* Business experience related to technical implementations
* Deep knowledge of data architecture, with an understanding of data structure, accuracy, accessibility, security, reliability and availability
* Technical implementation knowledge with ability to understand business cases and structure and manage teams to deliver relevant solutions

Additional Knowledge & Skills

* Previous positions showing strong leadership and communication skills with leadership of business and technology units
* Strong ability to develop and maintain long term positive working relationships with peers and stakeholders across geographic and cultural boundaries
* Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
* Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
* Above-average analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
* Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks when under extreme pressure
* Ability to build and manage high-performing teams
* Business acumen with an ability to identify how data can be leveraged to address McKesson business opportunities
* Experience leading teams in an agile framework, ideally SAFe

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
