Citigroup is seeking a dynamic technology leader with hand-on experience in migrating large enterprises towards PaaS maturity and Public Cloud adoption. This leader will help synthesize firm-wide strategy and drive implementations across both internal and external cloud streams demonstrating expert level experience with public cloud services with key emphasis on cloud native Kubernetes services. This candidate should bring a "been there done that" perspective and be able to articulate industry best practices and dimension the benefits guiding principles and adoption guidelines to accelerate business goals for our internal clients. This individual will work closely with business leaders across Citi to determine the optimal path of adoption for business applications onto one or more cloud services or engineered PaaS solutions while demonstrating the benefits to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Extensive design and implementation experience of enterprise grade use of Amazon Services
* Extensive design and implementation experience of enterprise grade use of Google Services
* Extensive experience migrating applications from large enterprises (preferably financial services) to public cloud
* Extensive hands-on knowledge of container orchestration and infrastructure management tools
* Experience of integrating DevOps processes and relevant development tools (Jenkins Stash/BitBucket TeamCity)
* Experience with automation using Terraforms to implement Infrastructure as Code
* Experience on defining best practices for refactoring applications and use of micro services to cloud enable applications.
* Good understanding of distributed application architecture and of Grid/HPC applications.
* Deep understanding of hardware operating system virtualization platforms and middleware components frequently used by Cloud providers.
* Understanding of security and reliability implications of financial services or similar industry.

* Experienced technologist in networking data center systems monitoring & alerting security domains
* Disciplined experience in cloud migrations at relevant scale with regional/global requirements
* Proven experience in managing mission critical enterprise platforms at scale - understands the challenges and takes accountability towards resolution
* Demonstrated maturity across technology and interpersonal skills to influence internal partners and drive external vendors towards a common business goal
* Ability to articulate a strong technology vision and inspire others in achieve the vision
* Ability to improve existing processes while creating new processes that accelerate cloud adoption
* Excellent communication skills (verbal written presentation)
* Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively interact with many stakeholders to resolve complex challenges

Skills / Experience Levels

* You have multiple years of experience in your area of infrastructure technology specialization, preferably in a comparable technology or financial institutions organization.
