What You'll get to Do:

Defining the future through innovation and excellence, join our Northrop Grumman Airborne C4ISR Division team in meeting the largest, most complex systems challenges imaginable for government, military and business. We are committed to developing net-centric systems and infrastructures that connect disparate systems.

The Communications Center of Excellence (CCOE) Business Unit in San Diego is seeking a BU Technical Lead to serve as the technical leader for the various programs. The Technical Lead will work directly for the CCOE Vice President to coordinate technical activities that include: providing technical leadership for CCOE Campaigns, developing technical roadmaps, defining and implementing technical strategy in support of BU objectives, coordinating with BU staff to prioritize IRADs based on profitable growth and resources, pursue longer-term platform opportunities with platform primes, identify and act upon synergies within C4ISR Division and NGMS for innovation and affordability.

The candidate is expected to have a broad technical background and a proven record of success leading both small, and large, multi-disciplined engineering teams in the development and implementation of military communications systems.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in a STEM field with 20 Years related experience; 18 Years with Masters; 15 Years with PhD
* Experience contributing to and developing product technical roadmaps
* Presentation skills to effectively provide status to internal executive management and customers
* Experience providing technical leadership to support business acquisition efforts
* Experience developing and leading Internal Research and Development projects
* Minimum of SECRET Clearance required

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Active Top Secret Clearance with investigation within the last 5 years.
