Job Title: Application Developer

Location: New York, NY

Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Application Developer at our New York, NY location. Responsibilities: Serve as primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support, and ongoing maintenance for Human Capital Management (HCM) information applications leveraging ADP's Open HCM platform. Implement and configure software application functionality, including user interfaces, business rules, workflows, and complex logic while creating technical designs and implementation documents. Enforce software application governance around cross-cutting capabilities, including security, authentication, authorization, and auditing. Collaborate with Product Management and Application Architects in a full-stack capacity to document and configure software solutions for business and data intensive systems. Evaluate and configure software function requirements, integrations, workflows, use-cases, validation rules, and data models.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: Programming languages, including Java, C, and .Net; Unix; Relational databases involving modeling entity relationships, including Oracle, IDM, and DB2; Data definition and manipulation languages, including SQL; Building or using Human Capital Management, Business Process Management or Enterprise resource management tools; Agile development methodologies; Automation Testing applying Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies; and ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data across systems.
