Find Security Engineer Jobs in the Denver Area

Security Engineers have a challenging and rewarding career that is highly sought after by many companies in different industries. These professionals are employed to ensure that system boundaries are protected and computer systems and network devices are hardened against attacks in order to secure sensitive data. Security Engineers thus primarily work with security architecture to develop cyber security designs, preparing document industry standard procedures and protocols for the system they're working on, and then they configure and troubleshoot infrastructure programs. Security Engineers also need to ensure that the business or company they're working for can respond quickly to security incidents and threats and know as much as possible about each one.

When it comes to education, a four-year college degree is often the minimum requirement; however, many companies may also require a master's degree. Hands-on experience with security systems such as intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, firewalls and authentication systems is a must. One must also have strong documentation and communication skills.
